Lamp Shades
These shades are in stock at the moment. I'm creating a new shade every couple of weeks and they will appear here when available. To fit these unique light shades needs a competent person, that may be you or an electrician. The heavier of the shades will be supplied with suitable ceiling hooks.
I'm calling this shade the 'Penrose' as, if you are familiar with Eschers' popular drawing of the Penrose staircase you'll see why, if not google Escher staircase or more accuratley 'The Penrose stairs' anyway, the shade is made from walnut this time and painstakingly glued, drilled, sanded, assembled and finally finished with danish oil and beeswax.

This is my first 'pirate hat' shade. Made from 1mm thin air dried ash. Each strip of ash is glued at 90 degrees to the next to form this triangular, curved shade. It is then drilled and dowelled, sanded, assembled and finally finished with danish oil and beeswax.

Anoher 'pirate hat' lamp shade. This time a 5 tier version. It is constructed from 1mm thin slices of Ash, glued in a triangle shape. This creates the curved sections and presents this delectable shape. 480mm tall and 540wide.

My wall lights are in my split-ash design and give a lovely glow whether in a bedroom, hallway or living room. Requiring hardwiring I have sold pairs in various sizes. I currently have a pair that are 420mm tall, 380mm wide and 190mm deep.

The Heart shade is created from six slices of millimeter thin, locally sourced and air dried Ash glued together to form a beautiful heart shape when viewed from either end.
